Q 7:
Someone sold a piece of land to another person for 50,000 Riyals which was to be paid within a year. Many years later, the buyer who did not pay this amount wants to sell it back to the seller for 30,000 Riyals,
and then pay the remaining amount later. Is this permissible? Is it regarded as the forbidden `Inah sale (selling and delivering something to another person in installments but repurchasing it with less immediate cash)?
A:
This is permissible and is not regarded as `Inah sale.
May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and Companions!
