Q 1:
your Eminence, I married a girl. She has a paternal aunt. Is it permissible for me to look at the face of her aunt and shake hands with her or not?

A:
It is not permissible for your wife's paternal aunt to uncover her face in your presence and it is not permissible for you to shake hands with her. You are not one of her Mahrams (spouse or unmarriageable relatives). May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
