A man who owns some camels sells

439

Q 1: I am fifteen years old and I am not married. I have sheep, so I would like to know if I should pay Zakah on them?

A: You should pay Zakah on sheep that graze freely, if they amount to forty or more and you have owned them for at least one year. Their Zakah is only one sheep, until they reach the amount of a hundred and twenty sheep. Once they reach this number, their Zakah is two sheep if they are grazing freely for all or most of the year.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
