Q:
A man has two wives and a stepson. Is this stepson considered a Mahram (unmarriageable relative) to his stepfather's second wife?
Please advise, may Allah reward you best.
A:
A stepson is not a Mahram to his stepfather's second wife or her daughters as he is an Ajnaby (a man other than a husband or unmarriageable male relatives) to them. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
