A woman wearing Hijab in front of her husband's nephew

936

Q 3: I heard some people claim that a maternal uncle's wife should not wear Hijab (veil) (Part No. 17; Page No. 437) in front of her husband's nephews. Is this true?

A: A woman must wear Hijab in front of her husband's nephews, because they are non-Mahrams (marriageable relatives) to her. What you heard is untrue. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
