It appears from the question that the inquirer volunteered to perform Hajj on behalf of his late father. If that is so, there is nothing wrong with the validity of his proxy Hajj, even
if he did not start the journey from his father's birthplace. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
