Q 3:
Would you kindly inform us about any Hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that addresses AIDS
(acquired immune deficiency syndrome)? We want to use it as an evidence when warning people against this new disease.
A:
It is reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) stated:
If unlawful sex appeared in any nation and they declared doing it openly, Allah would inflict them with plagues and diseases that did not exist in their previous ancestors.
