Q: Being in the area of
Al-Jawf
during the month of Ramadan, I asked some residents there about the time of breaking Sawm (Fast) therein. They told me that they break their Sawm five minutes after
Makkah.
After observing Sawm for eleven days, I found out that (at this time) the sun was still there and had not set yet.
A:
If you
broke your Sawm before its due time (Part No. 10; Page No. 291) i.e., before sunset, then you should make up for the number of days during which you broke your Sawm at that (wrong) time.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
