Q: My son suffers from hemophilia.
Since I desire to have more children, I have consulted six doctors and they all informed me that they will suffer from the same disease as it is a hereditary disease. I want to have more children, but I am using a means of contraception
because I feel pity on the children who will be born and I also fear the high medical expenses of treating this disease. It should be taken into account that this disease has no definite treatment. Is what I am doing Shar`y (Islamically lawful)? Please advise, may Allah reward you.

You should put your trust in Allah and delegate all your affairs to Him. You have to stop using contraceptives so you can have children, for it is Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) Who makes results dependent upon reasons. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
