It is impermissible to buy the yield of a farm for five years in advance, as this entails Jahalah (lack of knowledge) and Gharar (uncertainty). Thus, it is impermissible for you to enter into partnership with the mentioned merchant or take profit in return for this trade, even if you are ready to bear the risk.
