Driving a female teacher to school without a Mahram

A: It is Haram (prohibited) for a woman to ride in a car with a marriageable man with no Mahram because this may lead to great danger and Khulwah (being alone with a member of the opposite sex). This act is Haram for both of you and each one of you must perform Tawbah (repentance to Allah), ask Allah for forgiveness and refrain from ever doing this. There is no harm in taking the money you have been paid, as you did not know it was Haram at the time. (Part No. 17; Page No. 65) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
