Sending children to the schools of non-Muslims

367

A: It is obligatory upon a father to bring up his children, males and females, according to Islamic teachings. The children are an Amanah (trust) for which the father will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection. He is not allowed to send them to the schools of non-Muslims lest they are affected by Fitnah (trial) and their `Aqidah (creed) and morals are spoiled. He should be aware of the fact that the future is controlled by Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) who says: ...and whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and Companions!
