Is it permissible to perform Salah

579

Q: If a person, whether an Imam (the one who leads congregational Prayer) or a Ma'mum (person being led by an Imam in Prayer), performs Salah (Prayer) without Wudu' (ablution), and then remembers not having performed Wudu' during Salah, what is the ruling in this case? What should be done?

(Part No. 6; Page No. 191)  A: If the person praying, whether an Imam or Ma'mum, remembers not having performed Wudu', their Salah is invalid, whether that person is praying as a Munfarid (person offering Prayer individually) or an Imam. It is required in this case to perform Wudu' and repeat the Salah.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
