Q 10:
Is it permissible for a husband to have sex with his wife after concluding the marriage contract and before announcing the wedding?
It should be noted that this is impermissible according to the `Urf (custom).
A:
According to Shari`ah, there is no harm in a husband having sex with his wife before announcing the marriage. However, he should not do this, if it is feared that it might lead to evil consequences. This is because preventing harm is given priority over bringing about benefits. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
