Q: A person
heard the Adhan (call to Prayer) for Maghrib (Sunset) Prayer according to local time in
Cairo,
thinking the Adhan was according to the local time in
Alexandria,
then he had Iftar (breaking the Fast).
What is the ruling on this? May Allah reward you with the best.

If this person started Iftar before the sun set in the city where he is, he should make up for that day.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
