Q: This question is about hunting during Ramadan, Dhul-Qa‘dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram. Some people say that
it is Haram (prohibited) to hunt land game, such as birds and rabbits, during these months. (Part No. 22; Page No. 518)
I have already hunted during these four Sacred, Inviolable Months. Please advise, may Allah reward you with the best.

There is nothing wrong with hunting land game during Rajab, Dhul-Qa‘dah, Dhul-Hijjah, and Muharram, because although they are Sacred, Inviolable Months, the prohibition of hunting land game during them has been abrogated. Furthermore, Ramadan is not a Sacred, Inviolable Month.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and Companions.
