Q 3: Is there is any Zakah (obligatory charity) on laundry machines used at shops or not?


A 3: There is no Zakah on washing machines but Zakah is due on the money gained from these machines when it completes the Nisab (the minimum amount on which Zakah is due) on its own or when added to other items and a Hawl (one lunar year calculated from the time a property reaches the minimum amount upon which Zakah is due) passes.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
