A:
It is impermissible for you to make a will for more than one third of your wealth, or to make a will for one of your heirs, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
One third, yet even one third is too much.
He (peace be upon him) also said,
No bequest must be made to an heir.
However, it is permissible to write a will or make a Waqf (endowment) for those in need among your children to be given according to their needs, as it is conditioned on a general situation. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
