A:
It is not permissible to
be alone with an Ajnabiyyah because the Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
“No man should be alone with a woman, as Satan is the third of them.”
(Related by
Imam Ahmad, with a chain of narration (Part No. 17; Page No. 60) that is Sahih [authentic] on the authority of
`Umar ibn Al-Khattab [may Allah be pleased with him])
It is not permissible to shake hands with an Ajnabiyyah, as
`Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that
The hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) never touched the hand of any woman.
(Related by Muslim)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
“I do not shake hands with women.”
