A:
Lying about dreams is Haram (prohibited). There are stern warnings against this, which alone should be a sufficient deterrent, as the Hadith on the authority of
Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), who reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
“One of the worst lies is to claim seeing what the eyes have not seen.”

Also,
Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
“Anyone who claims to have seen a dream they did not see will be commanded (on the Day of Resurrection) to knot two grains of barley together, but they will never be able to do it.”

In the future, when you enjoin good and forbid evil, you must follow the lawful methods and stick to truth-telling and honesty.
