Q 9:
Is it permissible for a man to marry a woman whom he has not seen; that he asks for her hand from another country then she travels to him?
A:
It is an act of Sunnah that a man should look at the lady he is proposing to in marriage. However, if the man marries a woman (Part No. 18; Page No. 82) without seeing her, their marriage is valid. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
