A: It is not permissible
for men and women who are non-Mahrams (not spouses or unmarriageable relatives) to mix in one house, because this provokes Fitnah (temptation) and entail many evil consequences in violation of chastity and morality. (Part No. 17; Page No. 94) If such a thing happens, it is obligatory to resist that Munkar as far as one can, using advice and the appropriate methods. If they accept the advice, all praise be to Allah, if not, he should leave the place where sins and wickedness are committed. Allah says (what means):
And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).
