Men saving injured women

Q 2: If an accident, Allah forbid, happens on the road, and the driver and the women with him are injured and he can not drive them to a hospital, is it permissible for me to drive them to the hospital because they are in bad health condition? Moreover, their `Awrah (parts of the body that must be covered in public) may become uncovered before me. What is the ruling in this regard?

A: If the reality is as you have mentioned, it is recommended for you to drive them to the nearest hospital or to their homes in order to rescue their lives. Moreover, you have to cover their `Awrah as much as you possibly can in order to block avenues of temptation and to protect their honor. If you drive them to the hospital, you have to inform their families. If you do this, you will attain a great reward from Allah. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
