Q 4:
Some Muslims kiss and wipe their faces with the Mus-haf (copy of the Qur’an) before starting to recite from it. Is there any evidence in the Shari‘ah (Islamic law) that supports the permissibility of this act? Please enlighten me.
A:
This practice has no origin in the sanctified Shari‘ah.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
