Q: I had a sick, pregnant sheep that was about to give birth.
I slaughtered it by cutting the vein and the jugular veins,
then I cut its belly to get the baby, and I continued slaughtering it. Please advise whether it is lawful to eat.
A:
This animal is lawful to eat; there is no harm in eating its meat. (Part No. 22; Page No. 480) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
