It is not permissible
to own musical instruments, such as drums, audio cassette tapes of songs, etc. Similarly, it is not permissible to sell such things because this involves cooperation in sin and transgression. Likewise, it is not permissible to earn money from it because as in the Prophetic Hadith, "If Allah forbids something, He, with greater reason, forbids its price." In fact, such instruments have to be destroyed to get rid of them. It is not permissible to use them in wedding celebrations or other occasions because this involves manifest abominable acts.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
