A:
A Muslim should
supplicate to Allah (Exalted be He) to guide his children and bestow goodness upon them. It is not permissible to supplicate against them. In a Hadith related on the authority of
Jabir ibn `Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,
Do not supplicate Allah against yourselves, your children, your servants or your wealth, lest you should coincide (Part No. 24; Page No. 225) an hour when requests are granted and you will be answered.”
(Related by
Abu Dawud). It is obligatory on your wife to seek forgiveness of Allah (Exalted be He) much and she should not do that again. There is no Diyah (blood money) or Kaffarah (expiation) due on her.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
