Q 2: Is it permissible for a person who is reclining, standing, or walking to recite the Glorious Qur'an?

(Part No. 4; Page No. 145)  A: Yes, it is permissible, for permissibility is the original ruling regarding this act. There is no evidence indicating prohibition. This is supported by the description that Allah (Exalted be He) gives to the people endowed with understanding in the following Ayah (Qur'anic verse): Those who remember Allâh (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides Reciting the Qur’an is certainly a form of Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah).May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
