Q: I have a four-year old boy who was born with an extra little finger in each hand. Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) created him that way. I wish to know your Fatwa, may Allah protect you, concerning
performing an operation to remove the extra finger
from both hands. I hope Your Eminence could give me a written answer. Kindly guide me, may Allah guide you!

It is not permissible to perform this operation, unless it is established that removing them will not cause any harm; in which case it would be permissible.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
