Q 2: Is it permissible for a man to eat the meat of animals slaughtered by women?


A: Yes, it is permissible for a Muslim man to eat the meat of animals slaughtered by women, provided that the animals are lawful to eat, based on the basic ruling of the permissibility of food. It is also related by Al-Bukhari (may Allah be merciful to him) "on the authority of Ka`b ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman once slaughtered a sheep with a stone. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked about that and he permitted eating from it." May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
