Q:
I want to go on ‘Umrah (lesser pilgrimage) to
the Sacred House of Allah,
and, after finishing my ‘Umrah, I want to perform ‘Umrah on behalf of my parents
who are both living - all praise be to Allah - and on behalf of their deceased parents (may Allah be merciful to them). (Part No. 11; Page No. 81) Is this method correct or not? Please enlighten me about this.

If you have performed ‘Umrah for yourself, it is permissible for you to perform ‘Umrah on behalf of your parents if they are physically unable to do it due to old age or an incurable sickness. In the same way it is permissible for you to perform ‘Umrah on behalf of their deceased parents.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
