A:
You have to
turn to Allah in repentance for missing some prayers and committing some sins by regretting what you have done and determining not to do such sins again. Also, you have to be moderate with regard to the acts of worship you establish by doing the obligatory and supererogatory acts of worship and avoiding the prohibited and dislikeable acts. Beware of exceeding the moderate bounds of worship. Also, you should not neglect the obligatory acts of worship, otherwise you will be doomed. You have to follow a moderate way in establishing the acts of worship. Also, you have to recite the Glorious Qur'an as much as you can and contemplate its meanings. You should follow the ordinances of the Glorious Qur'an and avoid the practices it forbids. As for worldly pleasures such as food and dress, you can enjoy such pleasures as long as they are lawful. This is because Allah (Glorified be He) says,
O Children of Adam! Take your adornment (by wearing your clean clothes), while praying and going round (the Tawâf of) the Ka‘bah, and eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allâh) likes not Al-Musrifûn (those who waste by extravagance).
On the other hand, you have to treat other women and unmarriageable male relatives well by exchanging the greetings of Islam and talking tenderly to them as well as adopting good manners while dealing with them. Also, you should seek to get married to a pious and honest man who observes the establishment of the acts of worship and is known for good treatment and truthfulness among people. May Allah guide you to the right path! (Part No. 24; Page No. 331) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
