The basic rule concerning the rulings of Shari`ah (Islamic law) is that they address both men and women, unless there is evidence that they particularly address one of them. Slaughtering has joint rulings; and we do not know of any evidence that makes slaughtering particular for men. The general evidence showing the permissibility of slaughtering addresses both men and women.
