breastfeeding ties are established when the baby is breast-fed five times or more during the first two years of the baby's life. Breastfeeding and sucking are interchangeable terms. One breastfeeding counts when the baby holds the breast and sucks milk from it into the stomach. If the baby releases the breast then holds it and sucks milk again, this is a second time of breastfeeding, and son on. If the baby is breast-fed less than five times or after they have passed the first two years of life, no breastfeeding ties are established. (Part No. 21; Page No. 32) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
