A:
Your mother has to fulfill her vow, as it was authentically narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) stated: (Part No. 23; Page No. 388)
"He who vows to obey Allah, should obey Him."
However, if your mother cannot
fulfill her vow, she must offer Kaffarah (expiation) by feeding ten poor people, clothing them, or emancipating a believing bondsman. If she is unable to do this, she should fast for three days. As for you, there is nothing on your part, whether your mother is still alive, or after her death.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
