The money surplus to that collected for spending on the teacher working in a school for memorizing the Glorious Qur'an

Q: An association has asked me to give a sum of money, amounting to 8000 riyals, (Part No. 8; Page No. 297) for the teacher of memorizing the Glorious Qur'an in the Masjid (mosque). I could not pay the money, so some benevolent people paid an amount of money for charitable purposes and a sum of 1000 riyals of this money has remained in my possession. What should I do with this money, should I give it to the current teacher as I still have it in my possession? Thank you!

A: This money should be given out for the purposes defined by the donors, which is the memorization of the Qur'an for which the first amount of money was given.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
