The breastfeeding that affects marriageability refers to breast-feeding a baby for five times or more during the first two years of the baby's life. One breastfeeding counts when the baby holds the breast and sucks milk from it. (Part No. 21; Page No. 31) If the baby releases the breast, then holds it and sucks milk again, this is the second time of breastfeeding and so on until they become five times of breastfeeding. There is no difference whether the child is breast-fed five times consecutively or at intervals. Accordingly, the male and female children of the wet nurse are considered your son's siblings by breastfeeding. However, the male children of this wet nurse are considered Ajanib (men other than a husband or permanently unmarriageable male relatives) for you.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
