A: There is no Zakah due on the livestock whose owner feeds them most of the year, unless they are prepared for sale to make profit. In this case, the Zakah on commercial commodities is due on them, which is 2.5 % of its value when Zakah is due - that is, after the passing of a full Hawl (one lunar year calculated from the time a property reaches the minimum amount upon which Zakah is due).May Allah grant us success.
