A: If the matter is as you mentioned and the water that the chickens are put into is altered by reason of the blood poured forth (by slaughtering), the chickens should be washed with pure water to remove any traces of Najasah on their surface, and they can then be eaten.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
