You have to
pay Kaffarah (expiation) for an oath, as this vow is considered an oath. The Kaffarah is feeding ten needy people, by giving each half a Sa` (1 Sa`=3 kg. Approx.) of wheat, rice or other kinds of food that are suitable for dinner or supper, clothing them or emancipating a believing slave. If you cannot do either, you should observe Sawm for three days.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
