Q 2:
What is the preferable and suitable time for circumcising children; babyhood or after they reach puberty?
A:
All Praise be to Allah Alone and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, his family and Companions.
There is no defined time for circumcision in Shari`ah according to our knowledge in this regard. (Part No. 5; Page No. 124) Being young, circumcision will be easier and preferable for the child. Therefore, there is no blame upon circumcising a baby at that time.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
