Q 6: When a wedding is celebrated or a newborn baby is circumcised, the members of my family beat drums and utter trilling cries of joy.
Moreover, when there is a funeral, they wail and bewail in loud voices.
Is it permissible to accompany them while they are committing these Bid`ah (innovation in religion)?

It is not permissible to go to a meeting where such abominable acts are taking place unless you are able to change these Bid`ahs through giving advice and guidance in a kindly manner. If you can do so, you may go for the sake of enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
