It is permissible to invite the deceased's relatives, friends and neighbors to offer the Funeral Prayer for them, supplicate for them and attend the funeral. The Prophet (peace be upon him) informed his Sahabah (Companions) of the death of
the Negus (may Allah be merciful to him) so that they could offer the Funeral Prayer.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
