Does the Imam (the one who leads congregational Prayer) of the Jumu`ah (Friday) Prayer have to be a married man?
A:
Marriage is not a condition for leading people in Salah (Prayer), whether the Jumu`ah Prayer or any other Salah, because there is no legal evidence to make that a condition.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
