Jalsat-ul-Istirahah is an act of Sunnah in Salah for the Imam, Ma'mum, and Munfarid (person offering Prayer individually). Since, following the Imam is obligatory and preceding him is Haram (prohibited), the Ma'mum should assume Jalsat-ul-Istirahah so that he would not precede the Imam.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
