Including a child in the middle of the row during Salah

Q 1: Is it permissible to include a child in the middle of the row during Salah (Prayer)? What is the ruling on the Salah offered by those standing beside him?

A: If the child is percipient i.e. a seven-year-old child or more, he should be ordered to offer Salah. It is permissible for him to stand in the row of prayers to offer Salah with the congregation, for his Salah is valid. When Ibn ‘Abbas was a little boy, he stood beside the Prophet (peace be upon him) to offer Tahajjud (optional late night Prayer).May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
