Q 3: Is it permissible for women to offer Janazah (Funeral) Prayer for the dead?


A: It is permissible for women to offer Janazah Prayer over the dead, whether on their own or led in the Salah (Prayer) behind men, based upon the general evidence and the fact that all Muslims, men and women, are required to supplicate Allah for the deceased.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
