If the case is as mentioned,
and miscarriage takes place in the fifth month of pregnancy, the fetus should be washed and shrouded, and Janazah Prayer should be offered for it. It is Sunnah (action following the teachings of the Prophet) to slaughter `Aqiqah (sacrifice for a newborn) as is done with a child born at full term. It should be buried in a Muslim graveyard and be given a name. (Part No. 8; Page No. 408) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
