Q 13: Is it permissible to offer Janazah (Funeral) Prayer over a boy who has not reached the age of puberty?


A: Janazah Prayer should be offered over any Muslim deceased, even over the young who have not reached the age of puberty. It is even prescribed to offer it over a stillborn fetus provided that the soul was breathed into it. (Part No. 7; Page No. 266) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
