Q 2: It was authentically reported that the Messenger (peace be upon him) used to raise his hands on standing to offer the third Rak‘ah (unit of Prayer). Should we raise our hands before, during, or after (Part No. 5; Page No. 372

A: You should raise your hands on reciting Takbir (saying: "Allahu Akbar [Allah is the Greatest]") during standing from the sitting position where you recite the first Tashahhud (a recitation in the sitting position in the second/last unit of Prayer) and other positions where raising your hands on reciting Takbir is prescribed by Shari‘ah (Islamic law).May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
